COQUETTE was originally delivered with Detroit Diesel two cycle 8V92TA diesels. In 2005 the current owner removed them and installed two Yanmar 8SY-STP 900 HP engines and two Twin Disc MG5114MD transmissions.
The engine and transmission cost was $176,000 on the dock. The install was $52,000 for a total of $229,000. This included new engine mounts, new fuel lines, the new Yanmar electronics engine controls and digital gauges (three pair).Remarks
Purchased by the current owner in 2003 the yacht had previously been extended from 65’ to a new LOA of 72’ 6” by way of an aft deck extension which housed two Jet Skis in dedicated garages with a very useful Lazarette between. An electro mechanical tender lift (no parts exposed to salt water) raises the tender over four feet from the waterline.

In 2005 new Yanmar (Scania) 900 HP engines and Twin Disc transmissions were installed.
It would be hard to imagine a better island cruiser in this price range.
