Vessel Walkthrough:

The SeaRay 40 SunDancer with its hardtop and air-conditioned cockpit represents one of the most versatile layouts of any production model in this size range. The expansive interior volume features two staterooms on opposite ends of the boat, allowing for maximum privacy for both owners and guests.

Equipped with the customary marine electronics and an ergonomically designed helm with visibility from the helm being excellent both forward and aft. Providing the classic and timeless appearance that Sea Rays are known for her forward leaning fiberglass arch and clean style lines run from the bow to the trailing end of the swim deck.

Forward access to the bow is provided via wide port and starboard walkways with good hand holds all the way forward. Deck hardware is substantial both in quality and quantity being strategically located for ease of securing the vessel in docking and anchoring. The diamond cut pattern deck non-skid is throughout and offers sure footing and ease of maintenance.

The cockpit area offers an adjustable bucket type helm seat with a dual companion seat midship. There is a wash down sink/wet bar on the port side with beverage refrigerator and storage. The aft cockpit U-shaped passenger seating is across on the starboard side with continued seating aft along the transom. The transom door is positioned on the port side for access to the fiberglass swim platform with an integrated pull out and down swim boarding ladder and hot and cold transom shower. Several cockpit storage lockers, convenient catch bins, and drink holders are located throughout.

The interior layout offers a private master suite forward with the ever-popular split shower to starboard and a dual entry head and wash sink to port. The full feature galley with refrigerator and separate freezer are to port with a 20-inch swing down flat screen TV above. Across to starboard is an elegant convertible sofa/sleeper with dinette table. The midship stateroom with convertible sofa sleeper and private TV are located directly under the bridge deck and the companionway entrance steps leading up to the cockpit area.

Brokers Comments:

This is the best kept (under cover) and newest looking 2008 model vessel I have seen. The owners have sold their waterfront home with covered lift and moving out of state.

The well below market “Asking” value is based not on the vessels condition but on the seller’s urgency in having to have the boat moved off his lift. This offering will not disappoint you!

She sports an air-condition cockpit, pristine seat skins, beautiful wood cabinetry, and service records. With her Cummins 425 QSB power and all electronic controls – she flies! If you are constrained by draft or just like to go into skinny waters – this 40DA only needs 34 inches – the least amount for any make in this size range.

Owner regrettably has to pass this gem onto another loving owner. She has less than 685 hours on the upgraded 425HP Cummins Electronic QSB engines and less than 892 hours on the genset
