PRINCEVILLE is part of Benetti’s popular Delfino 93 range designed by Stefano Righini with interior by Carlo Galeazzi. This fast and sleek displacement luxury yacht features a modern yet sophisticated interior with accommodations for up 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP suites, one double cabin, and one twin cabin, all with full en suite facilities. Her large beam of 23ft provides a spacious & comfortable interior typically found on much larger vessels.

The on-deck areas of PRINCEVILLE are as luxurious as the interior spaces. The flybridge is exceptionally well designed with ample seating and lounging areas ideal for al fresco enjoyment complemented by a retractable sun awning, a Jacuzzi tub and bar. Featuring zero-speed stabilizers and very low fuel consumption, this “pocket superyacht” is perfect for private ownership or profitable charter use.

Main Deck

Depending on how the yacht is berthed, there is a gangway entrance to Port and Starboard midship and on the stern there is a 3-stage telescopic Besenzoni passerelle. The shaded main deck aft is fitted with a beautiful long varnished table that can also be converted into two tables. A large lounge and chairs surround the table with seating for up to 10 guests in a relaxed informal atmosphere. A 32’ Samsung TV is to port above a deep freezer. To starboard there are a teak staircase which lead up to the fly bridge. There is also an aft docking station for the Captain fitted with MTU throttle and bow & stern thruster controllers.

Main Salon and Formal Dining Room

The main salon can be entered through automatic sliding doors of the aft deck. Large sofas are set up to port and starboard surrounding a large coffee table. Bookcase racks on either side add to the club-like ambiance and create a subtle separation between the lounge and the dining areas. The glass dining table offers seating for ten and there are sideboards on either side for the stowage of crockery and cutlery. The galley is located forward on the port side, which is equipped to high standards so that cooking can continue even when the yacht is cruising.

Master Cabin

The master suite is forward on the main deck and there is the potential for wonderful views from the bed through the large side windows. A settee on the port side and a desk/vanity unit on the starboard side makes this a great private area for relaxing and this is enhanced by the en-suite with its large shower decorated in beautiful marble and tiling. The whole atmosphere exudes luxury.

Giving access to the master suite is a small foyer on the starboard side where a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door gives access to the deck. This would be the main access point when alongside a jetty, and from here you can get to most parts of the yacht with a short passageway forward leading. This leads first to the day head and then to the master suite, stairs down to the cabins and up to the pilothouse.

Lower Guest Accommodation

Down below there is one twin cabin and three doubles each with its own bathroom. Again there is solid marble featured in all the ensuite bathrooms that adds to the feeling of luxury. All cabins feauture en-suites with showers.
Throughout the accommodation there is a feeling of quality. Over 800 square metres of leather have been used in the decoration and it is used on panelling, furniture and on many of the surfaces. It is combined with walnut wood and touches of stainless steel to give a sense of restrained formality that is easy to live with. These luxury finishes demonstrate one of the major advances of a displacement hull where the performance is not compromised by adding extra weight and there is a very solid feel to the furniture and fittings on the Delfino.

The pilothouse is at half height, with stairs up from the foyer leading into a workmanlike space. The first thing you notice here is the vertical curved windscreen, which is a dramatic change from the normal sloping windows found on most motor yachts. These vertical windows are a much more practical solution than the sloping windows and offer a clear view ahead and to the sides. Reflection, which reduces visibility, is lessened as a result.

On the dashboard there is a range of displays with the navigation screens taking priority. On the flat section of the dash are the monitoring displays and the auto pilot is incorporated into the port touch screen display. This marks a new level of electronic integration with the whole monitoring and control system being developed by BCS, a subsidiary of gearbox manufacturer Twin Disc. They have also supplied the bow and stern thruster.

A corner settee in the pilothouse allows guests to participate in the navigation action and aft stairs give direct access to the flybridge where the controls are more conventional with an independent autopilot at the port side helm. The helm is set high on the port side to allow a view forward and there is a matching seat on the starboard side for guests.

In the aft area of the flybridge there are all the requirements of open-air living including sunbeds, a hot tub, a barbecue cabinet, bar counter and a 48’ Samsung TV. A full-length fixed Bimini gives sun protection, but the aft section can be retracted to allow for sunshine on the hot tub and sun pads. There is also a raised external and independent helm station.

Below the aft deck is the tender garage with easy launching and recovery over the swim platform. There is also plenty of space for more toys in this garage.

There is a second sunbed on the forward just below the pilot house windows and a small settee slots into the forward section of the bow. It is some of the smaller details that attract attention on the 93, such as the way the Benetti name is engraved into the drain covers and the mooring bits. There is a pole mast on the flybridge dedicated to the LED navigation lights to ensure that they are unobstructed, and the mooring fittings are all designed for easy use.

Powering this beauty is a pair of MTU diesels with each one rated at 747 Kw. These have direct drive to the shafts and propellers with the propellers contained within the depth of the hull. It looks a bit crowded in the engine compartment, but everything is accessible and of high quality. A small lazarette alongside the engine room access houses the laundry and storage areas.

Another unique feature on the 93 is the use of electrically powered fin stabilizers. These have been developed by CMC Marine and the electric power is both quiet in operation and much easier to install. The stabilizers operate both when underway and at anchor. The speed at which the fins operate adjusts automatically to the speed of the yacht.
Benetti’s main experience is in building mega-yachts and this experience shows in the design and development of the Delfino. This is a remarkable cruising yacht that offers relaxed cruising at 10 knots when the fuel consumption is just 70 liters per hour. This consumption doubles at the full speed of 13 knots but it is possible to achieve a cruising range of over 1500 miles at the lower speed.

Delfino 93

The profile of the Delfino is powerful and seamanlike, with a raised foredeck adding to the freeboard in the forward section. The hull is molded in GRP with a displacement hull shape that includes a bulbous bow to extend the waterline length and reduce pitching motion. Above the bulb there is the beautiful sweep of the curved bow that sets the style for a yacht that looks both functional and beautiful. The vertical pilot house windows give a practical look to the style and the whole impression is a wonderful combination of sea-going security and classic styling.
