Miami, FL

This very clean Bertram that has been owned and lovingly cared for by her current owner that purchased her 14 years ago from the original owner.  All the original manuals are on board as well as all the service receipts from Glastech where all service has been done.  While used mostly for cruising she is fully equipped to fish with cockpit chiller and freezer, outriggers, etc. The interior has been updated with all new soft goods and high end indoor-outdoor carpeting throughout. The sliding door cabin door was replaced by a custom hinged door. The last haul out was 5/22 and $25k was spent; the running gear was sandblasted and prop-speed applied, repainted bottom, new cutlass bearings, repainted boot stripe and house stripe, new stainless trim tabs, all new gauges and switch panel with lasered lettering, new VHF antennas, side vents painted, new zincs, and complete detail.  This is by far the nicest 37 Bertram on the market.

Overview

Current owner purchased the boat off the original owner and it has been lovingly cared for since new.  She is extremely well maintained and all the original manuals are on board as well as service receipts.  The interior soft goods as well as the carpets have been updated and the boat shows much newer than her age.  All the electronics work. The switch panel was custom laser engraved.  You will not find a nicer Bertram of this vintage on the market.

Salon

The Salon is a couple of steps up from the cockpit. The galley-up layout actually merges both areas without crowding, the galley occupying the forward portions while the salon seating is aft. Headroom is good while keeping the profile is in proportion. The L-shaped sofa in the starboard aft corner (converts to a double) is in excellent shape. Above, in the overhead, is a built in rod storage compartment between the liner and cabin top. Rods can be stored safely inside the cabin without having it on display.

  • Indoor Outdoor Updated Carpeting throughout
  • Fiberglass Soles throughout
  • Foam backed vinyl- covered bulkheads w/ oak trim
Galley
Storage space in the salon galley is excellent with nearly 15 cubic feet of drawer and cupboard space. In addition the galley has a single stainless sink, two burner stove, and microwave, plus better then 27 square feet of countertop. The refrigerator (to port, more easily accessible to the major galley work area) and freezer (to starboard, beyond the built in TV and stereo compartments) are under- counter models. Thus they offer their facilities without blocking the open, airy atmosphere provided by the expansive window area. For all its coziness, the saloon/ galley is not claustrophobic.
  • Subzero Freezer & Refrigerator
  • Kenyon 214 2 burner Stovve
  • Whirlpool Microwave
  • 120 volt Hot Water Heater
Master Stateroom
The forward master stateroom is open and airy with a foredeck hatch in the overhead. The larger then double pedestal bed (with stowage beneath) occupies most of the area without crowding it. A vanity to port and a hanging locker to starboard help provide a homelike atmosphere. A TV is built into the starboard aft bulkhead, and a curved entry door blends into a corner of the port aft bulkhead when opened.
  • DC lighting, AC outlet
  • Cedar lined hanging client
  • Stereo w/ speakers
  • TV
  • Vanity w/ mirror
  • Ventilating hatch and skylight, w/ screen
Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom is to starboard on the lower level, four steps down from the galley. Each over/ under bed is over 6 feet and 34" wide with 4" foam mattresses. There is a reasonable amount of storage under the lower berth and in a hanging locker.
  • Cedar Lined hanging locker
  • DC lighting
Head
The head compartment is to port between the galley and master stateroom and is spacious and neatly arranged. The shower stall is separate and features a single piece molded lower section for easier maintenance. A china sink with single lever faucet, spacious vanity, Galley Maid head, and ample storage complete the facilities. Here, as in other parts of the living area, essential components (through hulls for example) are easily accessible. Electrical

The electrical system is top of the line. AC and DC controls are behind a cabinet door in the salon, portside aft of the galley. Metering is basic, volts and amps for AC, volts only for DC. Genset controls are also here with a rotary switch for selecting AC feed. Every circuit has breakers/switches except the bilge pump which are fed independently of the main battery switches. There are a mixture of 110v and 12v lighting throughout with GFI outlets in the galley and head. The genset is an 9kw Kabota generator that was installed a few years ago and has 425 hours on it
