Presented for sale by Capt Bob Bingham and Capt Dave Kellerman Jr with Bingham Yacht Sales & Restoration. Big Blue - Rybovich is hull number 67, and the last plank on frame boat built by Tommy Rybovich in 1967. She is 45 feet in length and was originally commissioned as the Ole. Boasting unmistakeable lines, Big Blue's pedigree remains unparalleled. Her heritage alone, speaks volumes but her current turn-key go anywhere condition makes her even more special. The Rybovich family builds boats with the intent that they are meant to do much more than sit at the dock. Big Blue continues to live up to her those intentions. With that said, she is an absolute head turner whether she is tied to the dock or underway. She has been well cared for by knowledgable owners with an open check book one the years and it?s easy to see when you look at her. She underwent a no expense spared refit in 2014 that included a pair of QSB Cummins 550's, ZF gears, and all new running gear. Most recently, she underwent another cosmetic refit in 2022 which included new Awlgrip throughout, nonskid, new teak covering boards, and teak cockpit sole.As should be expected, she is easily managed thanks to her impeccable visibility and maneuverability.Whether the goal is to ply the cobalt blue waters of the Gulf Stream, or simply pull-up to a restaurant with the family, Big Blue is up to the task. While she is yacht quality, she was designed to be a fish boat first. While trolling, Big Blue pulls an extremely clean wake and her Vernatone muffled exhausts exit the transom above the waterline. Her glass over mahogany hull dampens unwanted sounds from penetrating from the vessel into the water. Her wheels have been tuned and her cutlass bearings replaced making her a stealthy weapon offshore. It?s not uncommon to see billfish just a few feet from her transom. At rest, she sits like a duck in the water - stable and sturdy. She radiates class and elegance while underway. Her 550 hp Cummins diesels emit a gentle rumble while she idles down the ICW and her common rail engines burn clean and completely smoke free all the while providing an extremely quiet cockpit. Those characteristics coupled with her open layout from the cockpit into the saloon provide an inviting environment for even the most discerning guests. She's the talk of the dock everywhere she goes. Not just because of her lineage, but because she's had the upgrades that most boat owner dreams of doing yet rarely have the time to complete. Her 2014 refit was well thought out and included a Cummins repower, a refinished mahogany interior with bright white soft goods that is absolutely gorgeous, 2 massive in-deck live wells, cockpit freezers, fishboxes, and more.At cruise, her sweet spot is 23 knots where she quietly loafs along burning right at 16-17 gallons per hour thanks to her set of Cummins QSB 550 common rail diesels. BridgeClassic Rybovich game boat bridge layout2 flush mount teaser reels in hard topVarnished teak helm pod and pedestalSingle teak ladder back helm chairSeating to port and starboard with cushionsUpdated aluminum half tower with hard top and recessed navigation lightsElectronics box overhead2 VHF radiosOriginal compassComplete cummins/smartcraft vessel view panelPolished Glendinning Palm Beach controlsPolished stainless steering wheelOriginal gauges on helm podStorage under seating and forward bridge storageVarnished Rybovich signature teak double handrailsLift up electronics cabinet forwardMurray Bros teak ladder back helm chairAnodized aluminum aft safety rail with 6 rocket launchersHatch cover for cockpit access hatchBridge wash down hose under port storage lockerElectronics2 Garmin 5212 MFD?sGarmin AutopilotCompass2 VHF: Icom 504 with remote Command Mic IIVolvo QL trim tabsFusion stereo headhuntJL Audio speakers throughoutCockpitTeak sole and covering boards freshly refinishedRelease Marine Battle Saddle w/ 6 rocket launchers2 gunwale rod holders2 gunwale hawse pipes2 in deck live bait wellsAccess hatch to the lazaretteTransom tuna doorRybovich teak and stainless steel bridge ladder with chrome on bronze step bracketsFresh water faucet2 kill boxes2 cockpit freezersEquipmentNew Strata Glass EnclosureRupp Double Spreader OutriggersHot and Cold Pressurized Water SystemFirebox Halon Fire Extinguisher System Engine Room(4) Kidde Fire Extinguishers(8) LifejacketsHigh Water Bilge Alarm forward and aft4 Rule Auto Bilge Pumps2 whale pumps2 Shower Water Pump-OutTV Cabinet in SalonCarbon Monoxide AlarmStamoid Cockpit Cover2 Morad AntennasAir Conditioning: Dometic - Cruisair Reverse CycleElectrical EquipmentCable Master Shore Power Inlet - 50 amp serviceBonding system completely redoneIsotemp water heaterGenerator: Cummin Onan 8kw Battery Charger: Mastervolt 12/50-3 bank chargerEngines and engine roomTwin Cummins QSB 550 hp common rail diesels installed in 2013 Engine room sprayed with Awlgrip before installationAverage Fuel Consumption : 16 gal/h, @ 23 knotsWOT 30+ knots loadedTransmissions: ZF 2:1 reduction gearShafts: Aquamet 22 stainless steel 1 3/4?Tides Marine dripless sealsBronze strutsBronze rudder stuffing boxesBronze rudders w/ stainless shaftsBatteries: 4 - 12V batterieswired in parallel in custom made, Awlcraft painted, fiberglass battery boxes for each engineBattery parallel switches, Battery shut-off switchesOil pressure alarms, engine priming pumps, bilge high water alarmFuel Filters: 2 Racor 900MASalonSatin varnished mahogany, with bright finished varnished moldingsOverhead LED soft white lightingL shape sofa to port with blue leather cushionsSofa to starboard with blue leather cushionsSofa has storage underneath on both sideDometic Cruisair reverse cycle air conditionerFlat screen TV and Fusion stereo with JL speakersLeatherette headlinerVarnished mahogany curtain valances both sides and aftRemovable carpet over the engine room access hatchesTwo sliding entrance doors aftOriginal electric circuit breaker panel locker with AC and DC circuit breakersGalley-down layout to starboardLocated off companionwayEleven foot long galleyCorian marble shell designCustom cabinetry with varnished teak trim(8) Storage draws(4) Storage lockersHidden Electric 2 burner stove with corian coverStainless steel sinkCabinet with electric refrigerator/ freezerMagic Chef microwave with a draw below(2) Overhead lightsStateroom - forwardUpper and lower crossover berthsOverhead LED soft white lightingOne large storage drawer under lower berthHanging lockerPort lightsForedeck access hatchSnow White Awlgrip cabinetry with varnished mahogany moldingsCork flooring with varnished mahogany trimDay HeadAccess forward stateroom and companionwayAwlgripped custom cabinet with varnished moldingsStorage locker under sinkVarnished mahogany trimmed storage locker12 volt Raritan headOverhead LED soft white lightingEnclosed stall showerPort lightMaster Stateroom to portCompanionway entrance to portOverhead LED soft white lightingQueen berth4 drawer storage under berth5 drawer storage cabinetCedar lined hanging lockerReading lamps2 port lightsCork floorMaster Stateroom HeadCorian marble shell design sinkOverhead LED soft white lightingRaritan headWalk in shower with PortlightHer registry can be seen here - https://www.michaelrybovichandsons.com/registry-pg-3/Place yourself behind the helm of this classic Rybovich for a moment.
