The vessel recently experienced an electrical sub-panel failure in the engine room. Importantly, there is no other damage in the engine room and no visible damage elsewhere — the space remains pristine. The machinery was unaffected.
A new main panel has already been installed and electricity is fully operational throughout the vessel. The only remaining work is to reconnect the engines and generator electrical systems. All other equipment is in excellent condition, with any questionable components already replaced.
With less than $100,000 in work by a qualified marine electrician, the vessel can be restored to 100% functionality as originally designed.
This represents an exceptional opportunity for the right buyer. Built in New Zealand by McMullen & Wing at a cost of $6 million, the yacht was awarded Powerboat of the Year (2006) by the International Superyacht Society. Once completed, the vessel should carry a value of approximately $1.7 million USD, leaving significant upside for her next owner
