8th Annual Cardboard Boat Race

The 8th annual Cardboard Boat Race is here once again. If you have a free weekend with the kids, do not miss out on this fun and entertaining event.

The event is for kids to build their own boats out of cardboard and race them to win a trophy. It is a wonderful way to get out with your family and friends and have some fun. The kids will get to use their imagination to build a boat of any shape or size to get the best advantage to win the race. Get your crew together, start brainstorming ideas, and get ready to race in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Come up with a team name and prepare for the excitement.

This event will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at the City of Hollywood Marina, 700 Polk St, Hollywood, FL. Boat building starts at 8am and must be done by 12pm to prepare for the race. This is a wonderful event that you do not want to miss out on.
